Hanna Luctkar has been a Certified Health Information professional and CHIMA member since 2017. She later became a Certified Classifications and Coding Specialist in 2020.

Hanna started her career as a hospital coder before moving into the Coding and Data Quality Educator position at the Ottawa Hospital. She enjoyed mentoring and working with new HIMs, and she continued in this line of work by teaching coding at St. Lawrence College in 2021. Currently she works as an inpatient coder, and is pursuing further education in Clinical Documentation Improvement.
