Community Facilitator, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI)

Brieanne Kinghorn is Certified in Health Information Management (CHIM) by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is a Data Quality and Clinical Documentation Specialist with Health Shared Services in Alberta. In this role, Brieanne works closely with both new and experienced coders, providing guidance, education and support to coding accuracy and strengthen data quality. Clinical documentation improvement is particularly meaningful to her, as she believes high-quality data begins with clear, thorough, and precise clinical documentation.
