Can the organization provide a summary of financials to members instead of detailed statements?

The organization will send members a copy of the annual financial statements and other documents mentioned in section 172(1) of the Canadian Not-For-Profit Act or a publication with the same info. Alternatively, the organization can send a summary along with a notice on how to get a full copy for free. If a member has written to say they don’t want these documents, the organization doesn’t have to send them.
