Introducing the new, official stamp for the Canadian College of Health Information Management’s continuing professional education (CPE) program

CPE program stamp worth 1 CPE credit

The Canadian College of Health Information Management (College) is proud to announce its new, official continuing professional education (CPE) program stamp. Effective January 4, 2021, this stamp will accompany all CPE activities approved by the College and indicate the number of credits that can be earned.

The CPE program is in place to ensure health information professionals enhance their skills and expand their knowledge for the duration of their career.

Professional members of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) participate in the CPE program to maintain their certification(s) with the College and continue using their professional designations (e.g., CHIM).

Organizations who would like the College to recognize their content as relevant and important to professionals who work with health information can contact general@cchim.ca.
