A key part of this preparation is developing knowledge and practical skills to support a smooth transition when the time comes.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Introducing <em>Hands-on with ICD-11<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CIHI is excited to release this ICD-11 hands-on learning opportunity to support capacity-building and skills development in the use of ICD-11 and its supporting resources. As part of this work, CIHI will be utilizing the WHO ICD-FiT platform.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This self-directed learning initiative provides practical, applied learning experiences that allow participants to:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Explore the structure and content of ICD-11<\/li><li>Navigate the ICD-11 Browser and Coding Tool<\/li><li>Practice coding case scenarios of varying complexity<\/li><li>Build foundational knowledge that will support future implementation<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether you work in coding, data analysis, clinical documentation improvement, education, or health information leadership, Hands-on with ICD-11 offers a valuable opportunity to start developing the skills that will be essential in the future.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Why Participate Now?<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although implementation timing has not yet been determined, early engagement offers several benefits:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Builds awareness and reduces uncertainty about ICD-11<\/li><li>Strengthens foundational knowledge ahead of formal transition<\/li><li>Supports organizational readiness planning<\/li><li>Provides an opportunity to contribute insights and feedback<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interested?
