CDI specialists act as a liaison and collaborate with coding teams and physicians to ensure clinical documentation accurately translates into coded data. CDI specialists educate by building training resources and tools to support both the coding and clinical teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We are very excited to have our CDI program accredited by the Canadian College of Health Information Management,&#8221; states Canscribe&#8217;s Chief Operating Officer Justin Chapman. &#8220;It means students can enroll with the confidence that they will receive unmatched training that sets them up for success. Our team has worked hard to ensure this program sets the standard for clinical documentation improvement training and ensures graduates have all the training they need to find employment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will be provided with an in-depth summarization of the criteria for high-quality clinical documentation and documentation improvement. Graduates from the CanScribe CDI Specialist program can successfully fulfill the role of leadership, educators, and collaborators to build effective systems in hospitals and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Our college is proud to announce the accreditation of the new Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist\u00a0program offered by\u00a0CanScribe,&#8221; states Jeff Nesbitt, CEO &amp; registrar of the Canadian College of Health Information Management and CHIMA. &#8220;We look forward to supporting faculty and students through this program and welcoming graduates who write and pass our Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CCDIS) national certification examination.
