We received feedback from multiple sources that this was a challenging time of year to attend because so many of our members were busy meeting deadlines with the Canadian Institute for Health Information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the COVID-19 pandemic began in March of 2020, we decided to postpone HIP Week to later in the year in lieu of our national in-person conference. The new virtual format allowed an increased attendance with over 800 attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this in mind, CHIMA will be consistently hosting HIP Week in October each year. This will allow for easier planning for our members, partners, and other stakeholders.
