{"id":1504395,"date":"2020-08-20T14:07:32","date_gmt":"2020-08-20T18:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthinfocanada.ca\/kathy-marcotte-award-nominations-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-08-20T14:07:32","modified_gmt":"2020-08-20T18:07:32","slug":"kathy-marcotte-award-nominations-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthinfocanada.ca\/?p=1504395","title":{"rendered":"SK chapter \u2013 Kathy Marcotte Award nominations now open"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nominations are now open for the Kathy Marcotte Award to recognize a SK chapter member for the period of March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kathy Marcotte was a very important member of Saskatchewan\u2019s HIM profession until her passing in 2011.&nbsp;Among many of Kathy\u2019s achievements was her outstanding leadership in the roll out of ICD-10-CA and CCI in Saskatoon in 2001. Kathy&#8217;s dedication to the HIM profession and pursuit for perfection made her an invaluable resource for HIM professionals in both the province and country. She embodied all of the qualities that we look for in an outstanding member of our profession and further enriched every life that she touched.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award winner will be notified and will receive a $250.00 cheque on behalf of the SK chapter plus one free registration to the next SK chapter in-person event. The nominee must <em>not<\/em> have received the Kathy Marcotte award in the last five years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nominator criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The nominator must be a professional member of CHIMA<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nominee eligibility criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The nominee must be a professional member of CHIMA and belong to the SK chapter; you can validate this by looking on the Registry of Professionals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echima.ca\/college\/professionals-registry\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1302\">here<\/a>. <\/li><li>The nominee must <em>not<\/em> be an active member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echima.ca\/chapters\/sk\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2572\">SK chapter committee<\/a>, CHIMA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echima.ca\/board-of-directors\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"5844\">board of directors<\/a>, or CHIMA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echima.ca\/contact\/national-team\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4642\">national team<\/a>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please seek the member\u2019s approval for the nomination.
