When it comes to health care in Canada, health information and quality of care are inextricably linked. Health information professionals transform data into valuable information that has a significant impact on the quality of health care that Canadians receive. Their work also influences operational decisions at health care institutions and informs policy and funding decisions being made across the country.<\/p>\n

The Canadian Health Information Management Association and the Canadian College of Health Information Management, together the Organization, are on a mission to advance the health information profession and ensure quality health information along the continuum of care.<\/p>\n

About the College<\/strong>
The Canadian College of Health Information Management is a national, not-for-profit corporation that sets the accreditation standards for educational institutions and certification standards for health information professionals in Canada. The College, incorporated in 1972, protects the public interest by governing and regulating the professional practice of more than 4,600 certified health information member registrants. In enhancing its status as a regulatory body, the College advances the professionalization of the health information industry and acknowledgement of its professionals as a key driver of policy, funding, and the care that Canadians receive.<\/p>\n

About CHIMA<\/strong>
CHIMA is the national professional association for the health information profession in Canada, representing over 5,800 health information members from coast to coast to coast. It advocates for and monitors trends within the profession, creates networking opportunities, and facilitates continuing education for its members. CHIMA also connects members with employment opportunities at organizations within health care and beyond.<\/p>\n

About this role<\/strong>
The Partner Engagement Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to CHIMA\u2019s Partnerships and External Relations portfolio, playing a key role in the successful coordination and execution of partnership, sponsorship, advertising, event, and engagement activities. This position helps ensure commitments to partners, sponsors, subscribers, and other external audiences are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard, contributing to positive and lasting relationships.<\/p>\n

The Partner Engagement Coordinator supports partner engagement, outreach, relationship management, and business development initiatives while maintaining organized processes, accurate records, and timely communications. Working collaboratively across the organization, this role helps ensure partners and other audiences receive exceptional service and value, while supporting the achievement of CHIMA\u2019s strategic priorities and organizational objectives.<\/p>\n

The Partner Engagement Coordinator serves in a collaborative support role, proactively monitoring activities and identifying, escalating, and helping resolve issues, risks, or delays as they arise. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and increasing responsibility, making it well-suited for an individual seeking to build a career in partnerships, external relations, and business development within a purpose-driven organization.
