By earning the HICA designation, you could work in positions such as medical office or primary care assistants, unit or registration clerks, among others. You can learn more about this here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cchim.ca\/certification\/hica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/cchim.ca\/certification\/hica\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are different pathways to becoming a Health Information-Certified Associate (HICA). The HICA NCE is based on the Health Information Associate Curricular Standards.
