Continuing professional education program audit for the March 1, 2018 – February 28, 2021 cycle

The Canadian College of Health Information Management (College) will be conducting an annual continuing professional education (CPE) program audit for active professional members of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). The audit will be for those assigned the March 1, 2018 – February 28, 2021, CPE cycle. The selected professional members will be notified in June 2021 via email regarding the audit process and important deadlines.

The College requires professional members to participate in the CPE program to maintain their certification(s) and use their associated professional designation(s) (e.g., CHIM).

A member’s CPE record must include all activities and supporting documentation for the current and previous cycles (e.g., if the previous cycle ended on February 28, 2021, supporting documentation should be saved until March 1, 2024).
