College launches new proctoring solution for national certification examinations

The College wishes to announce the launch of a new proctoring solution for its national certification examinations (NCEs).

The new proctoring solution is an online, automated proctoring service that leverages artificial intelligence to automatically flag times during an examination.

In 2018, the College moved from in-person invigilation to live, online proctoring. Since then, efforts have been made to improve the proctoring service to serve candidates better and increase operational efficiency.

The new proctoring solution, which was implemented in January 2023, provides a turnkey user experience for candidates and enables a quicker delivery of examination results. Our analysis confirms no performance impact on grades.

These efforts align with our organizational values (of setting the bar and putting people first) and advance our strategic goal of securing the role of the certified health information professional for the future.

Visit the national certifications examination page to learn more about the College’s certifications, examination eligibility, and examination dates.
