A New Year’s message from our CEO

Dear members,

This profession has never been more relevant to the needs of Canadians, and we are dedicated to your success within it. As noted in my year-end video, we are committed to developing initiatives designed to engage and deliver more value to you, our members.

As we welcome in the new year, I want to express my gratitude to CHIMA’s volunteers, members, and partners for their continued support and dedication to the health information profession.

The impact of health information is found in more places today than ever before. We are re-orienting our education pathways around member needs and the direction of the profession, ensuring you have the ability to not only stay relevant, but be a leader in your career.

Our new digital platform will launch later this year, advancing your ability to connect with fellow professionals across the country.

Our HIM 2020 Conference, Collected + Curated, will take place on October 5-6 in Winnipeg. Take part in this incredible networking opportunity and add your voice to critical conversations on health information. Please visit himconference.ca to learn more and subscribe to ticket sale updates.

Your dedication to this profession and involvement in your association helps to shape the impact of health information across the country.

2020 is an important year for health information, and we are focused on building this meaningful profession with you and for you.

Sincerely,

Jeff Nesbitt
CEO & Registrar
