Acknowledging our partner: Douglas College

The Canadian College of Health Information Management (College) would like to acknowledge Douglas College (Douglas) as an official College partner.

The College’s education partners deliver quality and innovative health information education. Douglas has access to College-approved resources (e.g., from the Canadian Institute for Health Information) that will provide instructors with the tools required to prepare students for real-world scenarios upon graduation.

Staff and students of Douglas have the opportunity to provide thought leadership, such as research papers, articles, or briefs, to the College’s open-source, public library.

Together with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA), Douglas students institution-wide are welcome to become CHIMA student members. Students learning across all programs, such as Health Information Management, Medical Office Administration, and Community Mental Health Work, are encouraged to engage with CHIMA to reach a community of health information professionals across Canada.
